ADDISON & JOHN PAUL

I have know Bryan Giemza for 30 years. Yes. I said 30 YEARS. There is a picture, somewhere of Bryan and I at about this age. I looked, but could not find it. Here are some shots of Addison & John Paul, Bryan's son, on July 4th. Enjoy!

WILDFLOWERS

Addison, Lukas, Alex, Megan, Jen, & Me Me went to a mini family reunion in Cameron, NC. The kids has a great time running around in the field.Note the "beats" (or beads). Like any good southern lady,

she had rather not leave the house without them!

None of them are looking at the camera, but really. You try to get a picture of these wild children looking at the camera at the SAME time!

I went a little artsy on this one. It is a tad on the sharp side, but it still works.

PIGTAILS!

I picked Addison up at school one day and found her with this hairstyle.

One of her teachers rescued her from the hair in her face. I really do pull it back,

but she will NOT keep a barrette in to save her life!

Advice to Moms with new baby girls:

Start putting a clip in their hair as soon as possible to get them accustomed to the feel of it.

Addison kept telling me that she looked cute!

A DAY AT THE POOL

Since it was 100+ degrees outside this weekend, we pretty much stayed inside until 5:00pm on Sunday. Then we ventured out to the pool. Addison was a bit apprehensive at first, but quickly warmed up. It was hard not to warm up, as the water was like a bath!

She also decided that jumping in was not just for the big kids...

Yep. She is under the water in this one!

Update: In the last week we have taken a big step: We bought a Potty. With Elmo on it. Addison had peed on it a few times. She recently looked at me and said "Pee Pee". We went to the potty and she did it! This was the first time that she asked to go and actually went! Hopefully we will be out of diapers SOON!
