- I do not need to hear about anything you heard from a cop and a lawyer so therefore it must be true.
- I don't need to be encourage to boycott buying gas for a day to teach those oil companies a lesson... it won't work.
- And folks... if you absolutely must forward a big bulk email... I pray that you blind copy the list so that you are not sharing all of your email addresses with everyone else on your list.
- And if you do get a bulk email that has everyone's email address on it, please, for the love of the Lord, do not under any circumstance use the "reply to all" button unless it is absolutely urgent that everyone needs read the reply.
- Snopes.com is a great site to check into these emails. You will find that 99% of them are not true!
- Jokes, and the "forward this to 9883647 people in the next 5 minutes" emails were not even funny 15 years ago- when we first got email! They certainly are not cool now!

WORD.
Becker, one of my fave photographers, posted this on his blog. I totally agree!
I wish everyone would consult with this handy Email Checklist from Seth Godin before they start firing off pointless emails. Spam about refinancing your home loan, buying drugs from Canadian pharmacies and enlarging your member the safe and nature way are annoying, but easily blocked by most spam filters.
But, it's the friends and family that forward the pointless, time wasting, inbox clogging stuff that really is annoying.
